DePrio
DePrio is a tool to map a file at a known memory priority level.
Microsoft Vista and above supports memory priorities. A lower priority means that the memory will
be freed from the standby list sooner than other memory. The default priority is 5 and very few
applications lower their priority. Some system utilities, such as SuperFetch, use different memory priorities,
however this is rare. The SysInternals tool RamMap provides a way to view the memory priority of file pages.
This release consists of a GUI tool that performs the file mapping. A screen shot is shown below

How do this tool Work?
It uses private kernel interfaces to achieve the goal. This may require administrator
privileges.

TMurgent believes in giving back to the community. DePrio is free for for use by all.
What OSs will it run on?
The tool will run on Windows Vista and Windows 7. At the time of this writing, the Windows 8 Beta version is the
latest tested.
How do I install it?
No installer. Just download, unzip and copy the exe somewhere convenient.
