TMurgent Technologies is now offering Custom Contract Sequencing for App-V 4.6 and 5.0 on an hourly basis.

For years we have been asked if we could do more than train your employees to sequence applications, but if we would do sequencing for you. We only did so rarely, just enough to keep our training "real". Today, this changes. We now have a select staff of extremely well trained associates that are ready to provide quality Custom App-V Sequences of your applications. We are not interested in handling your entire app portfolio, just the more challenging ones that require the sequencing power of TMurgent.

Question: Hourly? Most sequencing services offer fixed price per application sequencing. Why would I want to pay by the hour?
Answer: We are not a factory. Personal attention to your requirements is our first priority. In a fixed-price arrangement, our goal would be to finish the app with the least cost, regardless of the quality of the output. Because TMurgent hourly pricing is dependent upon success. If we cannot provide you an acceptable package, we discount the rate. Because the person doing this sequencing has been trained by Tim Mangan personally. This person will not only have a Certificate from GridMasterTraining, certifying them as a sequencing specialist, but has extensive access to the TMurgent private archives of application information. Because TMurgent is not asking for a contract to do hundreds of your applications, we don't build pricing around the generic and easy apps that you can probably handle in-house better than someone remote could possibly do. You are going to send only the "hard apps" that we want to take on (we love a challenge)! These are the apps that a factory will never produce to your satisfaction. Question: What happens if the application cannot be sequenced successfully?

Answer:

• If TMurgent cannot successfully sequence an application, it is doubtful that anyone else could.
• We keep you fully informed of the progress as it goes along. If you decide to pull the plug or we deem the app unsequencable, we will eat 25% of the cost so far and only charge you 75%.

Question: What versions of App-V will you use?

Answer:

• Whatever version you want. We can sequence on 4.2 through the current release.
• You specify the version, service pack, and hotfixes that you want
• We are ready for App-V 5.0 now!

Question: What standards do you use?

Answer: We will adhere to the latest standards as taught through the GridMasterTraining program, unless you supply a different standard to be used. GridMasterTraining is the most advanced and up-to-date on sequencing standards in the industry. Since TMurgent is one of the two partners that make up GridMasterTraining, we are the ones that create the standards used throughout the industry.

Question: What does it take to get started?

Answer:

• Email Mary Jane to start the conversation and make financial arrangements.
• Send us detailed information on the application(s) and how you will use them. We will provide you a questionnaire to help iron out details such as: what operating systems you will deploy to, what virtual drive letter you use, and any naming standards you would like. Depending on the application, we might require that you supply installation media and at least one license. Any preferences that you have on installation options and application customization should be provided to us, otherwise we will use our best judgment.
• We will sequence the application, and provide not only the sequenced application, but a detailed recipe of the steps taken to produce the sequence.

Question: What if I need a change to the Sequenced App?

Answer: If you need an update to the application, or find that there is an unexpected issue that needs addressing, we will be happy to address your issues under the same hourly terms as the original sequence.

Question: Who actually does the sequencing?

Answer: Sequencing will be performed only by someone that has been Certified by GridMasterTraining. This is the highest level of certification available in the world for App-V sequencing.
